Customer Service Representative

We are working with a client who is looking for a customer service representative that also has some dispatch experience. This role is essential in ensuring smooth scheduling, communication and material coordination for their commercial and residential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Answer, and direct incoming calls and emails from customers and general contractors
  • Schedule and confirm jobs with general contractors, building management, and service customers
  • Coordinate material ordering for all jobs; provide necessary logistical updates to customer
  • Release materials and tools
  • Assist in checking that plumber tickets match work tickets by checking times/schedules and coordinating with payroll to address any issues; ensure scope of job is correct by consulting with general contractor
  • Communicate with all foremen and project managers on a daily basis, create and distribute schedules
  • Send follow-up quotes for repairs from previous service calls
  • Provide quotes for installation and repairs for residential customers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational/tracking skills and the ability to accomplish day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to display a high level of diligence, and sense of urgency
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis adjusting to constantly changing schedules
  • Strong problem-solving techniques and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Must be a self-starter, pay attention to detail, and be organized
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Sage software a plus
