Barista/Cashier (Currents Cafe)

This position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through friendly interactions, product knowledge, and suggestive selling, with a focus on food, beverage, and retail support. It ensures accurate payment transactions, proper stock levels, and may include shift coverage in alternate retail or recreational outlets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

• Greet all guests and provide outstanding, on-brand customer service to enhance the guest experience
• Assist guests with inquiries and selections of food and beverage items such as coffee, pastries, and other offerings
• Process sales transactions for food, retail, and other items at the register
• Arrange and maintain merchandise displays to highlight featured items
• Replenish merchandise, monitor floor stock, and support floor moves and visual displays

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required
• Cash-handling experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong guest service skills with the ability to answer guest inquiries confidently and courteously
• Ability to work across departments, including both retail and food & beverage
• Knowledge of golf-related products, terminology, and sales points is a plus
• Proficient in processing accurate payment transactions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including accurate record-keeping
• Must speak, write, and understand English clearly
• High level of guest interaction requires strong patience, tact, and problem-solving skills
