Beer and Wine Back Ups/Cashiers cashier and serve as a back up to the store's Beer and Wine Steward. They provide customer service in the Beer and Wine department, order and receive product and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.

Main Job Responsibilities
- Provides excellent, professional customer service
- Serves as a back-up for the beer and wine department
- Assists with ordering, receiving, merchandising and stocking
- Communicates effectively with vendors, PCC staff, members and other customers regarding beer and wine
- Provides service as a cashier when needed
- Performs other duties as needed
- Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintains an orderly appearance of the beer and wine section and register area

Qualifications and Skills
Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
Must have extensive beer and wine product knowledge
Previous retail or public customer contact experience and background in retail grocery industry required
Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
Must demonstrate basic math skills and computer skills including Microsoft Office products
Must have strong organizational, attention to detail and multitasking skills
Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, and repetitive motion and lifting 10-40 lbs
A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
