Bakery & Deli Cashier

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Grebe\'s Bakery has been family-owned and operated for

over 80 years. The 4th generation of the Grebe family invites you to

join our team. Our quality bakery is known throughout the state as we

deliver to over 120 grocery store and convenience store locations daily.

Our retail operation, at 51st and Lincoln Avenue in West Allis, is the

face of our business and our Store Clerks need to put a smile on

customers faces, just like our bakery does. Job Duties: Provide

customers with friendly service. Accurately and efficiently fulfill

bakery orders. Fill bakery cases and restock shelves as needed. Maintain

a clean, safe work environment. Communicate with customers regarding

orders, comments, and complaints. Scrub and polish counters, steam

tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain

equipment. Accept payment from customers, and make change as necessary.

Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes,

to keep equipment and facilities sanitary. Request and record customer

orders, and compute bills, using cash registers, multi-counting

machines, or pencil and paper. Prepare daily food items, and cook simple

foods and beverages, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza, or

coffee, using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures. Clean and

organize eating, service, and kitchen areas. Brew coffee and tea, and

fill containers with requested beverages. Serve customers in eating

places that specialize in fast service and inexpensive carry-out food.

Wash dishes, glassware, and silverware after meals. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Qualifications: The right

candidate will demonstrate the kind of friendly service that causes

customers to return to us. Attention to detail and overall dependability

are important. ServSafe and experience with cash registers preferred,
