THE ROLE
The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of retail stores/kiosks. The Retail Operations Manager provides excellent customer service and looks for creative ways to operate effectively and efficiently. The Retail Operations Manager reports to the Director of Merchandise.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to help maintain store sets and product levels in all remote locations, detail oriented
- Responsible for facilitation and counting inventory
- Manage set-up, take down and logistical components of product movement including trailers and fixtures
- Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming merchandise, sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Complete other duties as assigned by General Manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Experience working and managing sales-based events including but not limited to inventory control
- Experience leading a team and/or day of event workers
- Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships
- Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives
- Ability to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; has strong abilities to organize people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow
- Can manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order.
- Must have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to work at all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
