Are you a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering value to customers? Do you have experience in the industrial sector, specifically electronics distribution? We're looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth across Ohio, Western PA, and Kentucky. Candidates can reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania or Kentucky.

This is a remote-based role with 50% travel, ideal for a candidate who thrives in the field-building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients succeed with innovative solutions.

Salary: $70-$80k base plus unlimited commission potential.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop new business while nurturing existing accounts to maximize growth within your territory

  • Lead end-to-end account management-from prospecting and quoting to onboarding, follow-up, and expansion

  • Build strong, solution-oriented relationships with key contacts across your customer base

  • Demonstrate product value and offer technical support tailored to individual client needs

  • Conduct in-person visits and virtual meetings to stay aligned with client goals and identify new opportunities

  • Reactivate dormant accounts and increase wallet share with current customers

  • Collaborate across departments (sales, procurement, finance, etc.) to ensure service excellence and profitability

  • Maintain a detailed and active sales funnel and document all interactions in the CRM system

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience; electronics distribution experience is a strong plus

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales pipeline management tools

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to convey product value clearly

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a solution-selling approach and team-focused attitude
