Operations Management:
Oversee all daily operations of the 16-room motel, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Manage room inventory and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Perform cleaning duties to ensure rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
Perform light maintenance tasks and report any significant maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and motel policies.
Financial Administration:
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including daily balancing and end-of-day procedures.
Manage petty cash and track expenses.
Assist with budget adherence and cost control.
Generate basic reports on occupancy, revenue, and expenses as required.
Maintenance and Housekeeping (Hands-on Role):
Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including the lobby, hallways, and any public restrooms.
Perform room cleaning as needed, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and basic repairs.
Identify and report any significant maintenance or repair needs to ownership.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and financial transactions.
Manage online booking platforms and ensure information is up-to-date.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and communications.
Assist with marketing efforts as needed (e.g., updating online listings).
