Job Description


  1. Receive deliveries of parts and materials; verify accuracy of information on packing lists with purchase orders on file.  Make sure that all packing slips are delivered to the purchasing manager and inform manager if packing slip not included with shipment.
  2. Distribute items received to proper location.
  3. Prepare Input charge-out/charge-in tickets relating to purchased and manufactured parts.
  4. Prepare parts orders, warranty jobs, materials to be hard coated for shipment, along with required paperwork, in an accurate and timely manner. 
  5. Complete Bills of Material for contract and parts jobs
  6. Load/unload trucks for shipment as needed.
  7. Assist with building crates and preparing shipments to vendors for hard coating.
  8. Keep the stockroom neat and orderly; keep access paths to storage shelves and aisles clear.
  9. Keep restroom & break area supplies well-stocked.
  10. Maintain sufficient stock of miscellaneous daily supplies, including but not limited to coffee and related items, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, batteries, soap, etc.
  11. Make daily trip to post office for mail and complete any additional errands as required.
  12. Assist Parts/Purchasing Manager and CFO with annual inventory.
  13. Essential Physical Demands: This position is very active and requires remaining in a stationary position 50% of time, moving about in the plant, constantly positions self to complete tasks all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds; drives forklift frequently. The employee must have a valid driver’s license, be able to drive a car and have a clean driving record.

Working Conditions: The physical environment requires the employee to be exposed to indoor and outdoor environments, heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment.
