Position Details:
- Pay starts at $17 - $18/hour
- Mileage reimbursement (vehicle must meet company standards)
- Earn $300+ a month from CarData vehicle reimbursement program
- Monday Friday (5:30am - 2:00pm w/ potential overtime) No weekends!
- Travel to convenience stores throughout Pennsylvania and Ohio.
- Occasional travel to WV, MD, DE, and NY with some overnights required.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a field-based Merchandiser with Core-Mark, a division of Performance Food Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our retail partners by executing in-store merchandising initiatives. This includes implementing planograms, managing inventory displays, and ensuring store layouts promote optimal product visibility and profitability. This non-managerial position requires a professional demeanor, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The role requires daily travel using a reliable personal vehicle that meets company standards.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Travel daily to assigned customer locations in your vehicle.
- Provide merchandising support across convenience stores in Pennsylvania and Ohio, with occasional travel to West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New York (overnight stays may be required).
- Engage with store owners and staff to evaluate store needs and deliver tailored merchandising solutions.
- Execute planograms by placing and organizing merchandise in designated display areas to meet Core-Mark standards.
- Install and reset store fixtures, shelving, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated items as needed.
- Perform product rotation, pricing updates, shelf-facing, cleaning, and restocking duties.
- Utilize company-provided sales velocity reports to assess product performance and recommend product discontinuation or replacement to enhance sales and profitability.
- Identify potential store-level issues and escalate to the Director of Merchandising.
- Maintain clean, safe, and shopper-friendly store aisles.
- Build lasting customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, responsive service.
- Maintain and care for company-assigned equipment.
- Submit timesheets and activity logs accurately and promptly.
- Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.6 months to 1 year of merchandising or customer service experience in a retail environment.
Ability to read and implement retail planograms.
Reliable personal vehicle compliant with Core-Mark/PFG guidelines.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proof of current automobile insurance.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 525 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
