Compensation:

$20.50-$24.00/hour

This figure includes a base hourly rate of $18.00 plus gratuities which average $3-$7 per hour.
If individual possesses NYC food handler's certification, base rate is +$0.50

Average tips increase wages to approximately $21-25/hour depending on the week.

Job Description:

At Buba Bureka, were on a mission to serve the perfect bureka, a savory Middle-Eastern pastry paired with briny pickles, crushed tomato, and a perfectly jammy egg.

Were looking for a FOH Team Member (with a Food Handler's Certificate or demonstrated intentions to acquire one) with an outgoing personality who exudes confidence and ease with customers. Whether youre greeting customers, baking burekas, or stepping behind the scenes to lend a hand with production, youll play a key role in creating a welcoming, high-energy environment that makes BUBA Bureka an absolute vibe.

While well train you for specific tasks that are unique to our menu, were looking for people who bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm for food, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever its needed.

As a Team Player, youll have the opportunity to be cross-trained in multiple roles, from Cashier, to Baker, to Boxer, allowing you to find the position that suits you best while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

Provide exceptional service by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized workspace, whether front-of-house or in the kitchen.
Restock stations and supplies throughout the day to keep operations running smoothly.
Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure a seamless service experience.
Safely operate equipment and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Requirements:

**Food Handler's Certificate (or demonstrated intentions to acquire one)
Friendly, outgoing personality and a team-oriented mindset.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
