Salary: $52,000 – $54,000 annually + Uncapped Commission

About the Role

Tinker Auto Parts is hiring a motivated and bilingual (Spanish/English) Outside Auto Parts Sales Representative to join our growing team in Brentwood, NY. This territory-based field sales role covers territory throughout Suffolk County / Long Island, based out of Brentwood, NY 11717. It requires regular travel to local automotive repair shops, dealerships, and fleet service operations. You'll build strong client relationships, provide knowledgeable product support, and help customers succeed by connecting them with the right auto parts and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a local sales territory by visiting clients and developing new accounts
  • Build long-term relationships with auto repair shops, dealerships, and fleet operators
  • Promote and sell a broad range of automotive parts, tools, and accessories
  • Conduct regular client visits to assess needs, offer solutions, and close deals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of sales calls, orders, and customer interactions
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Stay current on product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and commission goals
  • Collaborate with warehouse and delivery teams for accurate and on-time order fulfillment
  • Provide weekly reports and updates to sales management

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • 1–3 years of experience in auto parts sales or automotive outside sales
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Self-starter with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Basic computer skills (email, CRM, order entry software)
  • Experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) sales is preferred
