Skip Navigation Job Posting Details Regional Sales Director Job ID117276 Location Louisville, Kentucky Experience Required 7-10 years Education Required Bachelors Degree Functional Area Store Operations Support Position Type Regular Full-Time Relocation Provided Yes Line of Business Corporate-Field Based Position Description The Regional Sales Director is responsible for directing and achieving Regional sales, margin and profit goals through the execution of retail and Specialty Sales initiatives including Commercial Sales, Installed Sales, Special Orders Sales, eCommerce and Credit. This role interacts, trains and supports District Managers and Store Managers in the implementation and execution of corporate and regional sales programs. This position is responsible for effectively communicating and directing Retail and Commercial Sales along with advertising/marketing programs in their respective region including in-store promotions, promotional displays and seasonal transitions. This position will also direct store selling performance through effectively managing key store and district sales metrics including lead management, detail management, close rates, penetration rates, attachment rate, application generation and Specialty Sales. Position Requirements • Minimum of 2 years Store Manager / District Manager experience or a minimum of 10 years industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Store Operations, Sales Management, Merchandising. Multi-department e xperience preferred. • Proven ability to lead, influence and manage a sales organization in a cross function business environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to work effectively across organizations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Ability to travel an average of three to four nights per week Preferred Qualifications • BA/BS College Degree • District Manager experience • Proven ability to coach, lead and operate in a Home Improvement organization • Ability to build and manage productive sales organization in Big Box environment • Previous experience in successfully managing the “Big 3” Specialty Sales Initiatives (CBC, SOS, and Installed Sales) • Strong financial analysis experience including experience with DART • Experience growing private label credit programs in a retail environment
