Come prepared for anything!   Primary Responsibilities:   - primary running of the cash registers - customer service - maintaining and stocking the retail shop - assist other associates with weeding, moving plants, unloading trucks, watering, and other garden center activities - must be able to do repetitive bending, lifting, and pulling wagons containing several heavy plants   Other Responsibilities: - basic plant maintenance - upkeep of outside area immediately around the retail shop - have general knowledge of retail products, or where to find the appropriate information   Associates must:   - have excellent customer service skills - maintain good health and strength required to regulary stand, kneel, and lift and move heavy objects - have the ability to work independently and properly complete assigned tasks - be enthusiastic, energetic, reliable, and honest   This position is seasonal employment. Anticipated starting date of mid-April, with employment continuing through at least July, subject to Weather and Seasonal Conditions.
