They are designed to increase sales and profitability, drive customer acquisition / retention, and or enhance Lowe’s brand position. Project scope often encompasses online stores (lowes.com, lowesforpros.com), interactive design tools, multichannel media, and the future of online marketing programs (e-mail, search, content syndication). The position interfaces with numerous internal constituents as well as external third parties and is charged with managing multiple customer and operational initiatives against aggressive schedules, ensuring timely project completion. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Managing project execution to ensure timely delivery of online projects • Establishing and maintaining Lowe’s brand on the Internet • Participate, as needed, in 3-5 year planning sessions   • Develop business cases to facilitate expansion of the Lowes.com business via specific project-based initiatives • Develop, communicate and implement project plans to execute recommended solutions • Leads cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams consisting of internal and external resources to achieve stated goals for Internet-based, multichannel projects • Manages entire project lifecycles from discovery, requirements definition, business case development, solution development, implementation, and measurement • Ensures timely and effective project tracking, communication, and coordination within and between integrated teams • Manages variances and communicates progress and issues to management • Manages relationships between Internet and Emerging channels, functional organizations, and external agencies / vendors for specified initiatives • Helps integrate programs across channels with internal partners and manages program effectiveness against target metrics over time Position Requirements • 4 year degree – Business, Business Management, Marketing or Communications required • 1+ years experience in retail • 2+ years of Internet or eCommerce experience solid understanding of the creative elements, advertising, marketing, brand positioning and business development • Expertise in planning, organizing and implementing strategic business plans is required • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Project design and/or management skills • Negotiation and relationship building skills • Excellent time management/organizational skills • Effective working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word. Preferred Qualifications 1. 3-5 years experience in project management or related field, preferably in the retail industry 2. Understanding of interactive operations; customer information management; multichannel workflow processes; Internet technologies; and ecommerce knowledge and experience 3. Practiced in the basics of full-lifecycle customer marketing and technology management 4. Broad knowledge of Lowe’s marketing, merchandising and store operational programs 5. Strong skills in the following applications: HTML, MSProject, Adobe Acrobat, Powerpoint, and Excel
