Requisition Title Merchandiser Recruiting Location Text Fargo Recruiting Location Fargo, ND 58078, US Career Level Entry Level Function Sales Job Type Part Time Relocation Offered No Education Preferred High School External Objectives The Merchandiser/Display Stocker services assigned accounts (i.e. chain stores, large independent stores) by merchandising product deliveries. Maintains assigned space, secondary racks and vending equipment. Ensures that all products merchandised are of the highest packaging quality and that point-of-sale materials are visibly placed. Participates in shelf space management programs under the direction of the Area Sales Manager. Assists in the placement of vendors in chain stores and other assigned accounts. Develops and maintains a healthy Company image in the trade to achieve the Company's objectives for the overall growth and availability of DPS products. Performs daily routine vehicle inspection and operates assigned vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. External Responsibilities * Provide shelf and display merchandising to all stores assigned by Manager. * Provide reset expertise. * Work with Sales Representatives/Managers to coordinate delivery and merchandising schedule. * Build effective relationships with store personnel in the course of executing merchandising task; assure customer satisfaction. * Identify incremental sales opportunities for Sales Representative to pursue. * Provide feedback on competitor activities. * Cover routes and provide sales and/or merchandising services as assigned by Manager. * Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. External Requirements This is a physically demanding position working out of the office. In this role, the person is constantly bending and reaching and must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50-100lbs repeatedly. The position requires the use of motorized equipment. * Must be 18 years of age. * Must be able to lift 50-100lbs. * Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. * Must able to pass drug test, criminal background check, verifiable employment verification and social security check. * A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
