Create and maintain product SKUs for both new and existing products. Analyze and maintain a sales forecast for merchandise. Continually review category data to analyze sales trends and adjust forecast to support the sales plan. Build strong partnerships with peers, vendors, managers and subordinates. Manage store in-stock at company goal to maximize sales. Oversee merchandising staff to ensure all functions are completed accurately and on time; participate in staff training and development. Generate purchase orders. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Qualified candidates should have an Associates degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience. Good understanding of retail inventory management and purchasing process needed. Proficiency in Excel is a must. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to work professionally across departmental lines to accomplish company goals. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
